Update

July 27, 2002

Subject: Once strong, maintaining strength can be achieved by one time per week workouts.

This latest study took sedentary men over 70 years of age and placed them in a strengthening program 3 days per week for 3 months.

For the next 6 months, half continued to exercise 1 day a week, and the other half stopped completely.

The exercisers were able to maintain all their gains, while the inactive men did not.

This study proves, as have others before, that you don’t have to spend your whole life at the gym. As my students will tell you through their experience, you can actually continue to show increased strength by doing strength training one time per week if the intensity is adequate.

With SuperSlow® we emphasize total fatigue (inroading) of the targeted muscles, thus reaching the greatest potential for muscular growth in the shortest period of time.
