Fats, and Carbs When Eating Out.
Gary Lindahl, P.T.
Always drink plenty of water - from start to finish, 4-8 glasses.
Coke, ice tea, coffee, alcohol, etc. do not count.
No fried or fatty appetizers.
No bread or chips before or during your meal.
Salads: fat free dressing on the side.
Limit fats: lean meats, no butter.
Fill up on vegetables.
No carbs after 4 p.m., bread, pasta, cheese, potatoes, rice - anything
white.
Alcohol: 1 glass of wine or 1 beer.
No desserts.
Drink more water
Restaurants always provide servings that are too large. Have the waiter
divide your meal and put half in a take-out box before your meal is
served. If you have to see the whole presentation, then box the balance
remaining at an appropriate time.
